Welcome to Puddle Ducks!

Flookburgh C of E Primary & Nursery School welcomes 2-year olds to join us in our Governor-Led Nursery, ‘Puddle Ducks’.

From April 2024, eligible working families in England with a 2-year old can now claim up to 15 hours of free childcare.

If you would like to join our wonderful school and take advantage of the expanded 15 hours of government funding, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you!

Our 2-year olds began their learning journey with us when we first opened our ‘Puddle Ducks’ room in April 2024; it was, and still is, such a treat to hear the laughter, see the smiles and watch the amazement on the children’s and staff’s faces, as they explore the beautiful and well-equipped space and outdoors – the children especially love to be outside in the fresh air, exploring the playig field, woodland and orchard as well as playing on the variety of outdoor equipment they can choose from; they are real ‘whizzes’ on the scooters and balance bikes! 

Look out for our regular Open Mornings which we have planned throughout the year on our Facebook page or, please just call the school office to book in a visit if you can’t make one of the dates – we would love to meet you and welcome you into our friendly schoo!
